Can you guess how many wire hoops are available in the Isla Collection?
The collection drew inspiration from English artist Josh Bryan, known for crafting intricate triangulation portraits with a fine pen. Each piece is individually hand-formed, creating outlined visual movement and negative space with a hint of sparkle.
The Isla Hoops take center stage within this line, accompanied by Helena, Safiya, and Brea Hoops. These four designs are individually unique yet complimentary to one another.
The Isla Collection was born out of an idea I had since the summer of 2019. I envisioned a design with repetition, drawing from intricate patterns and lines, yet struggled to bring it to life. During the pandemic, life shifted, giving more time to sit down and design a collection to release in autumn 2020. The elements of the design are focused on using a continuous flow of triangular patterns and lines using fine wire.
So, where does the name Isla come from, you ask? The meaning of Isla is dynamic, vibrant, brilliant, and bright as the sun. Those four words alone are empowering and provocative. Who doesn't want to feel this way when they were jewelry?
