CUSTOM COMMISSION | Initial Name Necklace for My Son

I've had a few quarantined commission requests, both from my kids. My son and I had a conversation about the types of metals I use in my designs. It sparked a conversation about the differences between gold fill and solid gold and sterling silver. We also talked a little about costs, types of chains, why, and how metal tarnishes and scale. I enjoyed these conversations with him and proud of him asking these questions before he made a decision on the style and type of necklace he was requesting. Once he understood, he came to me with a sketch of the necklace he was interested in me creating for him.

From there, I built his first name initial pendant and selected a readymade chain of his choice. His pendant hand fabricated using sterling silver.
