GIVEAWAY | Mother's Day Gift Package

I have been reflecting so much motherhood these last few weeks and all the joys and obstacles of being a mom. We take on so much, but overall, being a mom is truly one of the best things I could ask for.

“[Motherhood is] the biggest gamble in the world. It is the glorious life force. It’s huge and scary—it’s an act of infinite optimism.” – Gilda Radner

A mother's heart is full of love when it comes to their children. Being a mom is not easy and anyone who otherwise are not telling their own truth or do not have children of their own. I love being a mom. Every day I wake up with a full heart seeing my babies and watching them grown, becoming their own, unique self. They make me proud of what they are accomplishing on a daily basis. I enjoy laughing with them, hugging and kissing them, learning from them and just being in their presence. I try to soak in every moment I can with them knowing they will eventually leave the nest.

“There’s no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.” – Jill Churchill

There are so many levels of emotions to being a mom, we forget to take care of ourselves. Self-care is so important to incorporate into our lives without the guilt. It's ok to take time off, even for only an hour or buy something for yourself every now and then.

“I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.” – Mitch Albom

I like to spend my day (or weekend) relaxing, having brunch with a few of my mom friends, dinner with my family and seeing a movie alone with a big bucket of popcorn loaded with lots and lots of butter. Today, I'm doing a giveaway for mom's only! You'll receive a care package of handmade soap, lip balm, soy candle, sweet treats and $60 eGift card to use at cindyliebel.com.

  • I love to spend Mother’s Day with my mom and several other moms in my family. We usually have lunch or dinner over a relatives house and talk, laugh and reflect.

  • Ah! You and your mom are the cutest! Happy Mother’s Dy to you both! I don’t live near my mom or mother-inlaw so I spend Mother’s Day together with just my husband and daughters. My only request is not to have to cook anything! If the weather is nice, I’d love to go for a bike ride all together.

  • Unfortunately we will be celebrating our Great Aunt VA Rose Homecoming to Heaven. I’ll be with our family, Mom and Grandma. We’re blessed to still have family in their 90s. They farmed all their lives, worked hard in the fields and took care of their children. Longevity and deep family roots still thrive and those values are passed down through some very fine women of strength and women who fought adversity.
Wishing all the awesome Mother’s out there a Happy Mother’s Day. You are special.

  • This will be my first Mother’s Day without my Mom. I will spend it with my daughter and I plan on spending time talking about my Mom and all the ways she showed her love to the both of us. I just read something that talked about the negative connotation that is associated with the phrase “becoming like your Mother”. I’d like to talk about the positive and all the ways we would like to be more like her.

  • I like to spend Mother’s Day having a picnic in the grass with my family. It’s a must to have my kiddos with me. It’s nice to just have a simple meal and chat with those who made me the mom i am today. :)♥
